How do I keep my pet rabbit from using my bed as a toilet?

My rabbit has a litter box in her cage, and she uses it consistently. She has one in my room also, but every time she comes in my room, as soon as I look away she pees and poops all over my bed. She won’t go on the floor or anywhere else, just on my bed. I’ve tried training her not to get up on the bed and I’m just not sure what to do. I’m sick of washing my sheets!

Help! My rabbit won’t go in his cage?

SonoranAngel asked:

My husband brought home a domestic rabbit that someone had let loose. I was happy because after years of having rabbits, I lost my last one a few months back. I haven’t had a young rabbit in a long time. My other rabbits were always litter box trained. This rabbit will not poop or pee when in it’s caged. The cage is big enough, there is a litter box and plenty of room to go elsewhere but it won’t. I left him in his cage all day yesterday in hopes he’d have to get used to the idea of peeing or pooping in there. He didn’t. I let him out this a.m cuz I’m afraid he’ll explode. He got out and really let loose all over the floor. I’ve been putting a litter box on the floor and putting the poop and a paper towel with pee on it hoping that would help. It doesn’t. This has gone on for almost a week. I just don’t know what to do. I may have to make him an outdoor bunny but I have never done that and I live in AZ and worry about the heat. Any suggestions would be so nice.
I must add that he seems comfortable enough in his cage. He’s a nice rabbit. It’s in a pretty quiet area and he’s eating just fine. He loves my cats also. He follows them around when he’s out.

How do I get a rabbit to climb the ramp in his cage?

Saturday, April 25th, 2009
tara h asked:

My rabbit has lived in a one story cage his whole life (he is about 4 yrs old)….I recently bought him a rabbit condo with two stories. I thought he might be a little scared at first but this is worse…..I have tried putting him on the top floor so that he will have to eventually come down, ….didn’t work. I tried using food. I tried walking him up the stairs, …no matter what, he won’t do it on his own…..

Have you had this problem? If so, how did you fix it….Will he learn over time or be afraid the ramp forever?

Female rabbit has been spayed but humps her female cage-mate?

Sunday, February 1st, 2009
ihatechunli asked:

I’ve been told that they are sisters if that is useful info at all. It all seemed to start when they became weirdly addicted to rabbit fiesta pellet mix. When it was about time for me to feed them she would become really excited and hump her cage-mate. But I stopped giving them that and switched to regular timothy hay pellets. But now she does it even when it is not meal time. They were spayed a few months ago. Should I question the vet that spayed her? Could I have gotten ripped off or something? It’s really strange.
