I live in upstate Ny And i have a rabbit to cold?

Ok i keep my rabbit outside in a cage, outside but i have a tarp over her?? is that ok or can she die? i looked on a website and it said that rabbits rather be outside in cold then me hot! and also is it better for me to give my rabbit warm water during the winter or still cold? thanks no harsh comments :)
i live in town away from harmful areas i live on a type of street were there are no harmful animals

    The elements but the coyotes but it is not as likely to get the coyotes but it is if we put our donkeys out and we put our donkeys out and all spayed and we put our donkeys out of cats to be gone now anyway would like to.
